When I was single and trying to find “the one”, the dating scene would go something like this: I’d put on my best hair and makeup, and act like the coolest, lowest maintenance, funniest, most carefree girl, who was also successful, smart and witty. We were on show mode; putting our best selves out front.
This façade of ‘cool and carefree Sarah’ would make the boys fall in love. I’d keep my problems trapped deep inside of me, not knowing any other way. I’d think that I’d get a good man and later on he could help heal my heart. Then we’d live happily ever after. This obviously, was quite literally the opposite of what would have helped me and probably one of the main reasons for all my heartbreak.
When the honeymoon period of about 3 months ended – just like clockwork – the toxicity and fights began. I felt so void of love and affection that it was only a matter of time before the lost and broken Sarah started to emerge, trying to get the love I wanted to feel.

Born and raised in a Christian household, I witnessed domestic violence and lived life walking on eggshells, feeling void of love and constantly afraid.
It was God’s gift of creativity that led me to study graphic design in 2012, eventually launching my own business. But after striving on my own and facing heartbreak after heartbreak, I found myself brought to my knees in my dad’s living room, crying out to God. That moment marked the beginning of my journey back to my first love—Jesus.
Even now, Jesus has to remind me that my gifts are from Him, that they are not my own, and that they are meant to bring Him glory. He needed me to not only know, intellectually, that I am a royal daughter of the King—He needed me to accept my crown and walk in it. And this, I’ve learned, is impossible without an encounter with His love.
This is why I am here: to help others encounter His love and be transformed in their identity, so they can walk powerfully in their anointing.
