Hey beautiful

Have you ever walked into church or an event, only to feel like you don’t quite fit in? 

Maybe there are girls or people there who don’t seem to incline toward you, and it feels like you’re being ignored or left out. 

I have had this happen on more than one occasion. And it’s tough to deal with. Especially when you’re trying your best to connect and fit in, but it seems like no matter what you do, there’s a wall between you and the others.

You’re not alone. 

Many of us have walked through seasons of feeling overlooked, unappreciated, or misunderstood—especially in spaces that are supposed to be filled with love and acceptance, like church.

But here’s the good news: your identity is not defined by the opinions of others. 

Your identity is not based on wether people like you, or how many people want to be your friend. 

Your worth doesn’t fluctuate based on how others treat you or whether or not you fit in with their group. 

Your identity is firmly anchored in who God says you are. He says you are His beloved daughter, chosen, and created with purpose.

Consider Jesus. He was often rejected, misunderstood, and even mocked by the very people He came to save. 

But His confidence in His identity as the Son of God never wavered.

He didn’t need the validation of others because He knew His worth came from His Father.

You, too, beautiful, can find your confidence in God’s love for you. 

Even when people don’t seem to incline toward you, or when you feel disconnected from the crowd, you can stand firm in your identity in Christ. It’s easier said than done. I’m still practising it myself. Let’s walk this journey together.

You are loved, you are enough, and you are beautifully unique. 

Your value doesn’t depend on human approval, but on the audience and approval of the One who created you.

Does that mean you have to walk alone? No! But when you find your identity in Christ, you also discover your true purpose and calling. And as you step into that destiny, God brings the right people into your life—those who can support, encourage, and walk alongside you in fulfilling His vision for you.
