Hey beautiful

Ooph, the last few weeks have been such a whirlwind!

(Literally, we had a cyclone here in Australia, and I was without power for over 5 days!)

Healing Bible verse cards

When we look at the global turmoil right now—across America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the EU, and beyond—it’s clear there’s a battle in the spirit. What’s happening in the natural realm is often a reflection of what’s taking place spiritually.

Maybe you’ve been going through your own battles , whether in your personal life, family, business, relationships, or finances. Or maybe it feels like all of these areas have been under attack.

Two years ago, I asked the Lord what His agenda was for the coming year. He gave me three visions.

One of them showed Jesus in a field, wielding a sword, moving from His left to His right. I believe this signified a time of separation between the wheat and the tares. This is something we’re witnessing now.

The holy and unholy are being exposed within the body of Christ.

God is shaking things up.

He’s been purging, cleaning house, and burning away the wood, hay, and stubble.

Disruption is happening. Judgment begins with the house of God (that’s us).

“For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17)

We need the old to be shaken , so that the new and better, purer thing can spring forth.

Change doesn’t feel good, I get that. It’s uncomfortable, even terrifying.

But after the shaking, God always brings something new. He turns all that was meant for evil around for good to those who love Him.

The shedding of the old is part of the natural, necessary process.

If you’ve felt lukewarm , lost, or even questioned God; “God you led me here, but all I see are trials and tests,” you’re not alone.

I’ve felt much the same recently. I’ve dealt with evil even within the church and felt helpless about it. I experienced heart issues arise with friends + issues with work. It felt hard to read the Bible or pray.

It wasn’t until a recent 3 day conference led by Jennifer Eivaz that set me on fire again. There’s something about doing a new thing, and being in the presence of hungry saints that stokes the fire back up in your spirit.

I believe God is wanting to shake off old things of the past , before we enter the new.

He’s purifying and calling us to let go of the old habits and survival mechanisms that keep us from stepping into the new. Old mindsets, hurts, and unhealthy behaviors.

He wants to lead us forward into greater wholeness, maturity, and health so we can walk in our destiny freely, without hindrance or vulnerability to the enemy.

“Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens. The words ‘once more’ indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.” (Hebrews 12:26-27)

Will you partner with me and with the Lord, and say “no more” to the old?

No more people-pleasing that places man above God. No more timidness instead of boldness. No more succumbing to the fear of man that hinders your ministry.

The righteous are as bold as a lion! (Prov 28:1). God is calling us to:

Shut down the enemy’s voice (you have the authority. Luke 10:19).

Let your words be clear—yes or no. Anything more is evil (Matthew 5:37).

Take your eyes off your circumstances and focus on Christ (Colossians 3:2).

Renounce fear and step into bold, courageous faith (Joshua 1:9).

Know the love of God for you and reject lies about your identity (Romans 8:38-39).

Cast down evil thoughts and be filled with the fruit of the Spirit: peace and joy (Galatians 5:22-23).

It’s time to stand firm and let God consume you (Heb 12:25). No worldly distractions.

Here’s what you can’t control, in life :

  • Other people’s opinions of you
  • The past
  • What others say about you
  • Time
  • Other people’s feelings
  • The way people speak to you
  • External events
  • Other people’s behaviors or beliefs
  • The way people treat you

Here’s what you can control:

  • Who you choose to spend your time with
  • How you process emotions
  • Your self-talk and what you believe
  • Your responses
  • Time spent with the Lord that brings peace
  • How you treat others
  • Boundaries and guarding your own heart
  • Your attitude
  • The way you speak
  • Being renewed in your mind through the Word of God

In the midst of the whirlwind of the Holy Spirit disrupting and shaking, the fire of God burning and purging, and the river of God cleansing, stay in prayer, thanksgiving, and the joy of the Lord—which is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Things have been delayed. Things have been shaken. Things have been pulled away. We’ve been in the wilderness; weary from the dry, barren place.

But now, it’s time for the new thing to spring forth.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19)

God bless you in abundance, sister!

Hey, I’m Sarah Rose

the girl behind Woman of Faith

Jesus has my heart, I love my Jack Russell, Bear, and all things creative and beautiful.

After striving on my own and facing heartbreak after heartbreak, I found myself brought to my knees in my dad’s living room, crying out to God. That moment marked the beginning of my journey back to my first love—Jesus.

I’m here to help women encounter His love and be transformed in their identity, so they can walk powerfully in their anointing.
